The legend says that the famous trumpet player Chet Baker, coming back from a concert, was welcomed by two friends in a magnificent apartment in Pollone, in the hills of Biella in the west of Piemonte. The loft which was an ancient dancehall of a hotel called “Casa Mia” with the panoramic view of the mountains overlooking the valley inspired the trumpet artist to play a unique version of the “Almost Blue” which was dedicated to the stars of this wonderful night.
